G-Star School News
Welcome Back G-Star School of the Arts Parents and Guardians!
We are all very excited to start a new school year. Keep reading our blog on www.gstarschool.org for weekly announcements and use our school calendar for school information such as odd and even days.
Stay in touch with your student’s teachers on Edline and come visit us on Parent Night September 1st from 6-8PM. This evening gives the parents an opportunity to follow their student’s schedule and meet their teachers.
We will also be having our annual college night on September 15th. Wells Fargo Bank will be here for a Financial Aid Journey presentation. The FAFSA application will open October 1, 2016 this year.
We want to keep communication open and information readily available. We will continue to provide you with our newsletter the Star Gazer. The information will be sent out monthly and you will also find the link on our blog.
G-Star is proud to work with our parents and guardians to help your student have a successful year.
Thank you,
Mrs. Collins

PARENT DROP-OFF PROCEDURE
Dear Parent and/or Guardian,
It is G- Star’s commitment that our school be a safe environment for our students. As such, traffic and safety rules need to be followed by all parties entering the campus. We cannot make that happen without your help. We hope that you will contribute to a safe environment for our students as they arrive and leave from school. We ask for your cooperation to make your student as safe as possible by following our drop off and pick up directives.
When dropping off or picking up in front of the school, please pull forward as far as possible. This is important as to keep the flow of the car line moving and limit congestion on Congress Ave. Please do not allow your student(s) to exit the vehicle prior to reaching the DROP OFF ZONE, marked on the map on the backside of this letter. All parents need to remain in their vehicles.
Thank you in advance for helping us in making G-Star’s mornings and afternoons a safe and smooth interaction.
Sincerely,
Administration
