Principal's Message

September 15th marks the beginning of Hispanic/Latino Heritage Month, a time to honor Latino contributions to our communities and our histories and to celebrate the rich and varied cultures that have risen from Spain, Mexico, Central and South America and the Caribbean and spread around the world.

Here at Charles F. Tigard Elementary school, we recognize that our linguistic, racial and cultural diversity brings strength to our entire learning community. We are proud to highlight and honor the culture and heritage of our Latino students, staff and families during this month's celebration and throughout the year.
