5 non-negotiables for our toughest students
I saw these this past week, and I believe they are critical when working with ALL of our students, especially our most difficult.
1. You have to like them
2. Private is better than public
3. Some is better than none
4. Late is better than not at all
5. 2nd to last word is best
Family Celebration of Cultures
Families and staff are invited to our annual evening of shared dishes and good company on Monday, February 25 at 6:00 pm. For several years our community has come together, welcoming each other with alluring foods, family recipes, and conversation. Please bring a dish to share.
HEF Royal Bash
Saturday evening was the Hopkins Education Foundation's Royal Bash. The Glen Lake community showed up loud and proud. A portion of the night was asking for financial commitments to support student health and wellness. Above is an image that identifies what Hopkins is preparing for with an ask of $73,000. The the exact dollar amount raised hasn't been announced, I'm confident to say that this goal was reached. The response was unbelievable, and it shows the community's commitment to supporting our students.
