Sustainability Club
First half of lunch on Mondays.
We are encouraging new members to get involved with a range of projects, both in school and globally. These include sustainable travel, teacher training, student ambassador training, whole school training, recycling and we are also starting a new project on how we can tackle the huge threats facing the world's oceans. If you would like to be involved in any of these projects or if you have any other suggestions, please come along today.
Soup or Sandwiches?
The school is about to start our Spring / Summer catering cycle. Last year, this meant that, in addition to the two hot main courses and dessert, soups were replaced by sandwiches. We would like to know what our community would like next term, please let us know by completing this form.
Wear A Hat Day
On Wednesday 23 March Halcyon will be taking part in the national Wear A Hat Day, in order to raise money and awareness for brain tumour research.
We are asking students and staff to donate to this fantastic fundraising cause and wear their favourite hat!
In addition, we kindly ask if everyone can please contribute to a bake sale that will be hosted at Halcyon on the last day of term. If you would like to get involved please email Ms Shillito or Ms Ranson.
