The Freedom Flyer
3-6-15
Freedom Team,
Thank you so much for all of your support and flexibility with all the last minute changes and challenges.
This morning we were only able to secure a few outside judges for our Science Fair. Originally we had 15, but many of them had appointments preventing them from judging today. However, we had many staff members step up and help us judge the amazing projects. A special thank you to the following people:
- Cari Scott
- Andrea Pollock
- Cindy Cowan
- Michelle Lowhorn
- Cassie Garcia
- Patty Page
- Lindsay Garrison
- Sara Parrish
A huge thank you to Julie Holder for securing judges and then back up judges. She was dilligent and even worked on this yesterday during our snow day.
Another huge thank you to Sara Parrish for sharing the library, altering her schedule, and then judging and passing out ribbons.
Thank you to all the third and fourth grade teachers who organized, planned, and supoprted the Science Fair: Danielle Graves, Angie Parker, Torie Davis, Rebecca Wyman, Jamie delValle, Katie Proctor, Deborah Lawson, Heather Harman, Misty Shea, Julie Holder, and Serina Brownfield. The projects were amazing, and this is due in part to you talking up the fair, teaching science, and just loving kids.
Open House is being rescheduled. Team Leaders are sending me a date this afternoon. If you have any questions or concerns, come talk to me. A lot of factors go into rescheduling such an important event.
Thank you to Coach Cox and Coach Vee for teaching the kiddos the Diabetes Walk dance...how cute and fun! Love the energy! We saw lots of you out there dancing!
Thank you to Lisa Steele-White for being our eagle this morning and at dismissal! Adorable!
Thank you for making these past few months wonderful for kids! It takes all of us pulling together, and I appreciate each and every one of you. You've definitely earned your Spring Break. Kim and I hope to see each of your before you leave today. Have a restful time away so you can recharge and refresh!
~Heather
