Garma Festival

Gulkula site, 30 minutes from the township of Nhulunbuy on the Central Arnhem Highway

Pictured above, the Garma Festival is one of the most renowned Indigenous festivals organised by the Yothu Yindi Foundation. It aims to raise money to support cultural, health, arts, education and economic programs for Indigenous people. The picture depicts Indigenous Australians performing of the cultural practices.
