Message of Unity and Hope
I want to express a message of unity and hope to our Jewish and Palestinian students, staff, and families. It is through dialogue, empathy, and education that we can bridge divides and build bridges of understanding. It's crucial that our students, staff, and families from all backgrounds continue to engage in open, constructive conversations that promote peace and respect for one another.
While the situation in the Middle East can be complex and sensitive, it's vital to remember that we are all human beings deserving of peace, security, and the opportunity to thrive. We encourage you to engage in meaningful dialogue. By doing so, we can create a more compassionate and inclusive world for everyone.
My thoughts are with all those affected by conflicts, and I hope for a brighter and more peaceful tomorrow.
If you have any questions, would like to discuss this topic further, or simply wish to connect, please feel free to reach out.
Mr. ChabolaRaise Craze Success!
Raise Craze Success!
Our Raise Craze fundraiser has ended and we couldn’t be more thrilled! Our students completed 2,352 Acts of Kindness and we raised $116,720 with 90% of students registered and participating. As of right now, we're at a 95% keep rate! Stay tuned for a full update later this month when we have a final report.
Mr. Chabola was Silly Stringed today to celebrate reaching our goal. It was a ton of fun for the kids! Huge thank you to Mr. Chabola for being such a good sport! (Pictures to come!)
We exceeded our goal so a Kona Ice Truck will be on campus Monday, October 30 with shaved ice for all students & staff to celebrate our school's success!
Thank you for your support! We are so proud of the Lin Howe community!
*Note: The Lin Howe Raise Craze site will stay open for one more week! There's still time to donate! https://my.raisecraze.com/AVG39HG

The Laramie Project- Presented by CCHS Academy of Visual and Performing Arts
Twenty-five years ago, a 21-year-old University of Wyoming student, Matthew Shepard, was brutally kidnapped and murdered because he was openly gay. Moisés Kaufman and fellow Tectonic Theater Project members traveled to Laramie in the aftermath of the event and during the trial, conducting 200+ interviews with the townspeople. AVPA Theatre is honored to present this deeply moving and inspiring piece of theatre in allyship with the LGBTQ+ community. This play encourages us to continue much needed conversations within the CCUSD community that propel understanding and acceptance in a world that is in constant struggle between oppression and progress.
