EBC Family,

This Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. is our Marriage Weekend. It’s not too late to sign up - just call the Church Office. I am looking forward to spending the day with many of you as we learn how to develop healthy patterns and practices in our marriages.

Make sure your calendar is marked for Sunday evening, February 5th at 6:00 for our Chili Cook-off and Ministry Team Kick-off. We will eat dinner together at 6:00. Then at 6:40 our Ministry Teams will meet to welcome new team members and make plans for the coming year.

If you are not currently serving on a Ministry Team at EBC, please look over the list of teams and ask the Holy Spirit to direct you to a place to serve. Healthy Christians are serving Christians. God made you to serve. You are missing out on His plan and purpose for your life if you don’t have a place to regularly serve in the church. Ministry Teams are a great “front door” opportunity for you to begin discovering ways to serve your Church Family.

Sunday’s parable will be Luke 7:31-35. Study it this week on your own to see if you can discover 1) The Prompt, 2) The Surprise, 3) The Point, and 4) The Application.
