Your source for all things SGF
Dear SGF Families,
We are only three weeks away from our 2023 South High Marathon Dance! We are so excited to welcome the dance back to the high school this year, and our students have been hard at work preparing for the event.
Be sure to keep an eye on the SHMD Facebook page for updates and information about this year’s event.

New website, app in the works
We are hard at work on our new website and can’t wait to share it with you. We are on track to introduce it at the end of the month or early March. We can’t wait for you to see what we have been working on.
In conjunction with the new website, South Glens Falls CSD will also be launching a new app for our families.
National Counseling Week
National Counseling Week
This week was National School Counseling Week. We wish to give a big thank you to our counselors for all of their hard work. Please know that what you do does not go unnoticed by both your fellow staff members and most importantly by our students and families.
Once in a Lifetime Opportunity
Our Stage 42 team got the chance to workshop with Heather Parcells - an original cast member from the Broadway production of TUCK EVERLASTING in New York City. The group also got the chance to take in the production of Six on Broadway.
Tuck Everlasting will be this year’s Spring Musical here at South High. Mark your calendars for the first weekend in April!
