Also, if you must park to unload your children, please park on the opposite side of the street. You MUST exit your side of the vehicle first, while your child waits for you to OPEN his/her door. Then you should walk to the crosswalk together. Please DO NOT allow your child to exit your vehicle without you at their side.
Thanks for working with us to ensure the safety of all of our students.

News From Title One
Hermann Elementary is a Title 1 School. Title 1 is a federally funded program provided to districts to help their students meet state standards. All students can benefit from the resources and support from our Title 1 staff. Through our schoolwide Title 1 program, we can target students whom we think would benefit from some extra learning interventions. This year’s Title 1 teachers are Amy Schebaum and Paige Brown.
Amy earned a Bachelors of Science in Education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008 majoring in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. In 2010 she obtained her Masters in Education Administration. Since 2010 I have been teaching Grades Kindergarten thru Second Grade at Hermann Elementary School. This year will be her 12th year of teaching.
Paige earned a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri – St. Louis in 2010 majoring in Elementary Education. She earned her Masters in Elementary Education this summer as well as a Reading Specialist Certification.
Since 2010, she has prior experience working in Title 1 positions in multiple other school districts. Here in Hermann, she has taught Fifth Grade and Third Grade. This will be her 4th year of teaching.
