Laurel Springs School Update
Welcoming you BACK to SCHOOL!
Dear Laurel Springs Families,
I wanted to touch base just one more time before our school year officially kicks off on September 8th. Our school building has been transformed into a safer space to promote social distancing and hand hygiene. Our amazing teachers are poised and prepared to work with their students again, no matter if they are hybrid or full remote. I could not be more excited for this year to start and very much look forward to our partnership in education as we return back to Laurel Springs School. If you need anything, I am a phone call away.
Thank you!
Mr. Mahlman
Principal
Hybrid Students
Cohort B- Your first day of learning is September 8th. You will be learning at home. Your work will be posted on your classroom platform for you to complete starting at 8:30AM, then you will Google Meet with your classroom teacher at the designated time in your schedule. We expect you to start work at 8:30 AM as if you were in school. This same procedure will occur on September 9th. On September 10th and 11th you will be learning in-person at Laurel Springs School.
PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP ANY ADDITIONAL LEARNING MATERIALS FOR YOUR HYBRID STUDENT, BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 8TH.
Full Remote Students
FULL REMOTE
If you have chosen to start the year FULLY REMOTE (meaning your student will be learning strictly from home) you have been contacted by your full remote teacher who will provide your instruction on the days you were scheduled to be in person. If you have questions about your Full Remote Student's Schedule, please contact your full remote teacher or call the office and we will put you in contact with your full remote teacher.
You will operate on your remote days exactly as you would have normally. This will keep all of our students consistent with pacing, allowing for differentiation.
PLEASE CALL THE OFFICE TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO PICK UP ANY ADDITIONAL LEARNING MATERIALS FOR YOUR FULL REMOTE STUDENT, BEGINNING SEPTEMBER 8TH.
