This week in PK3.3
30th November - 4th December
Birthday Celebrations!
A big thank you to all the children and parents for the delicious chocolate cake and beautiful gift you so kindly surprised me with this week. I love celebrating the children's birthdays with them and it was even nicer to share mine in such a special way!
This week we also had an early celebration for Eric's 4th Birthday. He has family visiting and it was so nice to share this special occasion with them. Family, friends and cake....we love PK3!
Getting ready for our Mothers Day Spa!
We are very excited here in PK3 and can not wait to share our special Spa morning to celebrate our special Mom's.
The children have been practicing their massage techniques (ninja massage anyone?) , nail painting and hand massages all week and are ready to pamper you with their new skills.
We very much look forward to seeing all the Moms on Monday and having this special 1 to 1 time together.
Environmental print
In morning meetings this week we have been looking for our letters. Don't forget this is a great way to encourage your child to look for literacy all around them; when you are at the supermarket, the cinema, reading a menu in a restaurant or just eating your breakfast cereal together.
Feeling festive....
In small groups.....
In small groups this week we have been working on :
- using dice to identify, count and quantify numbers,.
- improving our fine motor skills using tweezers to move beads to a bottle cap mat.
- identifying and stamping our letters.
