Principal's Corner

What a great week! I want to thank all of the grandparents who came to eat lunch with their grandchildren. No doubt some indelible memories were made this week!

Also, thank you to those of your who came out to the Spirit Night at Chick-fil-A to support the Rachel Turnage Scholarship Fund. We are so grateful for your generosity!

Starting on Monday, our cafeteria will begin serving Chick-Fil-A sliders on Mondays and Wednesdays and Domino's Pizza on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please note that the Chick-Fil-A slider is cooked in PEANUT OIL, so please make your child aware and avoid the slider if necessary. Both options are available at the regular lunch price.

Our Watch D.O.G. kick off happens this Thursday, September 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. We need positive male role models to interact with our students and we can assure you that our kids love having their dads, granddads, etc. on our campus!

Below are some dates to mark on your calendar:

  • Watch D.O.G.S. Kick off (September 22)
  • Fall Pictures (September 26)
  • Coffee with the Principal (October 6)
  • Fall Carnival (October 15)

Have a wonderful weekend!

Mrs. Ray

Vision and Hearing Screening

Vision and hearing screening on students in Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades is mandated by the state of Texas. The school clinic will begin screening Kindergarten students next week on Tuesday, September 20 and then continue with 1st, 3rd, and 5th grades. This process will take several weeks. Parents will be notified if their child fails a screen so they can follow-up with the appropriate physician.
