There are about 1.5 billion people in Britain that use the internet. Tim made the internet, because he suffered a work over load and he wanted a way to link information. He made up some rules and one of those rules was to only to speak one language on the internet. Tim was honoured during the 2012 Olympics in London. Sir Tim was born in London 8 June 1955. Tim made the internet free for everyone to use and after he made the internet, he made lots of money. He is now 60 years old and still alive today and make shows of how to use the computer. In 2001 Sir Tim became a fellow of the Royal Society and he is referred to as TimBL. He graduated in Oxford University, England. He no directs W3 consortium and did you know that he wrote the first web browser and server in 1990. On everyone's computer even mine there is an address so the computer knows who you are. In 2004 he was knighted by H.M. Queen Elizabeth and in 2007 he was awarded the Order of Merit. Tim was a very keen trainspotter when he was a child and he loved building his model railways.
