I hope you all enjoy your SB! I know I will be focusing on spending time with my family and attempting to take a break from my professional responsibilities :)
I'd also like to officially announce Theresa Loftus as our new Learning Specialists @ MES. We are excited to learn from her expertise and knowledge and have her join our MES family.

A few highlights
MES will be hosting a book fair during school hours on April 15th - 22nd. Please encourage your students to participate during Library!
We are excited to invite all incoming kinder students and their families into the building on April 6th @ 6:30 pm. Invites will be going home with current students. We are looking forward to this in-person chance to connect with families!
July 5th - 28th
9am - 2pm
Specific students who are in need of extra support will be asked to register first. After those seats are filled student registration will be open and closed when capacity is at its limit.
Jog-A-Thon will take place in May! We are very excited to continue this fantastic tradition. Last year we raised over $13,000! More info to come regarding specific dates and plan.
Molalla Elementary School will be participating in full state testing this year, as will all elementary schools in the state or Oregon. If you would like to learn more about state testing please visit this link. If you would like to opt your child out of state testing please visit the MRSD website.
Students were able to engage in a unique activity that focused on reading, writing, and presenting in Mrs. Ford's 1st-grade classroom. Students enjoyed learning about Penguins!
