A Message from our PTA regarding Deanna Busse
Art with Mrs. Connors
Students finished up the school year with a school wide project that will beautify Roosevelt. Every student painted a kindness rock for our kindness rock garden that will go in one of the courtyards. We brainstormed what words and things could go on the rocks to represent kindness. Students were able to sketch some ideas for their rock and then we painted them over the next 2 weeks. I can't wait to update what the kindness path will look like once it is done.
Have a wonderful summer and keep being creative every day!!

Crossing Guard Vacancy
We are notified today by the Livonia Police Department that our crossing guards have indicated they will not be returning to their posts next school year. This is sad news for our school community, as we have appreciated their caring support throughout the school year.
The Livonia PD is seeking applicants for anyone who would like to be considered for a crossing guard position for next school year.
If you, or someone you know, may be interested, please visit the following link for a job description and additional details: https://www.governmentjobs.com/careers/livonia/jobs/2062163/school-crossing-guard?page=2&pagetype=jobOpportunitiesJobs

Bus Message from LPS 22-23
Good Afternoon LPS Families,
As we wrap up the school year, plans are already taking shape for the 2022-2023 school year!
If your child will need transportation next school year, and you are within eligible boundaries for bussing, please see the attachment below, which describes
how to request bus service for next school year for your child(ren). If you are unsure if you qualify for bussing, please email lpsbus@livoniapublicschools.org.
NEW this year, parents can request transportation via Parent Connect! We ask that families indicate their need for transportation by July 30, if possible, to assist our
Transportation Department in planning routes for next school year.
If you have a child who will be returning to LPS next school year, but was not registered this school year, watch for communication in mid-August to request transportation as part
of the "enrollment confirmation" process.
Please see the TRANSPORTATION REQUEST INSTRUCTIONS for details and screenshots. Screenshots show step-by-step instructions while using a computer. Cell phone
navigation may vary slightly.
Thank you and we hope you have a wonderful afternoon!
