A Message from our PTA regarding Deanna Busse

Deanna Busse has served Roosevelt PTA for almost 10 years. She has been a PTA member, a volunteer, parent chaperone for field trips, chaired committees, volunteered for all Roosevelt events like sweets for staff, kindergarten round up, boo bash and many more. She is currently our first Vice President on our PTA Board but is passing the position on as she is graduating alongside her 4th grader. She will always be a Roosevelt Tiger and we are beyond thankful for her time, talent and dedication to Roosevelt's community. On behalf of Roosevelt Elementary we want to Thank you for your service and wish you all the luck on future endeavors.

Art with Mrs. Connors

Students finished up the school year with a school wide project that will beautify Roosevelt. Every student painted a kindness rock for our kindness rock garden that will go in one of the courtyards. We brainstormed what words and things could go on the rocks to represent kindness. Students were able to sketch some ideas for their rock and then we painted them over the next 2 weeks. I can't wait to update what the kindness path will look like once it is done.

Have a wonderful summer and keep being creative every day!!
