Principal's Message

It's been a great first week back at school. It is nice to hear the happy voices of the children and see their smiling faces outside! We are looking forward to a great year ahead. There are a lot of important announcements below, so I will keep this message brief.


If you are not already on our text message mailing list, you can sign up by following the directions below. A message reminding people they are subscribed went out today. If you did not receive the message, you are not currently subscribed.

Sunday Mass

Fr. Scott would like us to remind everyone that the dispensation from Sunday Mass attendance due to COVID-19 is over and that as Catholics, we have an obligation to attend Sunday Mass weekly. St. Mary Parish's Mass schedule can be found below.

In Need Of

We're in need of baby wipes which will be used by students to wipe down shared surfaces. Please consider donating some to the school to assist!

School Wish List

St. Mary School is in need of some items. See our wish list below. It's through Amazon so shopping is easy and will ship directly to the school!

For every $10 spent, it counts as one hour per service.

Decision Tree

The school uses public health's decision tree when determining if/how long students must remain out based on symptoms, exposure, or positive test result. You can view that decision tree here.

PE Schedule & Uniforms Order Information

PE is twice per week. On PE days, your child is expected to wear his/her PE uniform. If you don't have PE uniforms or if they do not fit, students may wear their regular school uniform with PE shoes.


PE will occur on the following days:


Monday & Thursdays:


  • 1st Grade
  • 2nd Grade
  • 4th Grade
  • 6th Grade
  • 8th Grade



Tuesdays & Fridays:


  • Kindergarten
  • 3rd Grade
  • 5th Grade
  • 7th Grade



PE Uniforms are preorder only. Orders must be placed by Thursday, August 26th. They will arrive by mid September.

In Need of a Piano?

A school is family is looking to give away a piano to anyone who may need one. If you are interested, contact office@stmesc.org, and we will put you in contact with the family.

Hot Lunch

Hot lunch will start in October with pizza on Mondays and Fridays. Ordering information will come out soon.


In November, we hope to add options for Tuesday & Thursday.

Gala

If you are interested in helping out with our main fundraiser, the gala, email our gala chair, Megan Handy, at gala@stmesc.org. We have volunteer opportunities that are both large and small, so there is something for everyone.

St. Mary Preschool is currently enrolling for the 2021-2022 school year.
