Eagles Reign over Stock Market Game
Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade stock market teams! There are 116 Dekalb teams ranging in age from elementary school to high school, and we have 5 stock market teams in the top 10! As of Friday, December 2nd, a 4th grade team from Ms. Anderson's ELT class holds the 1st place spot.
The game ends this Friday, so hopefully, we can hold on to the #1 spot! We currently have teams in 1st place (from Ms. Anderson's class), 6th place (Murphy), 7th Place (Echols-James), 8th place (Murphy), and 10th place (Anderson). We also have 3 more teams in the top 20.
As soon as we get final results, we will pass them along!
A Note from Ms. Luhrs Regarding " A Night of Music"
Dear Choir Parents and Students,
In celebration of the holiday season, the Evansdale Elementary Choir, Band, and Orchestra are coming together to put on a concert featuring some of our favorite holiday songs. The concert, or ‘Night of Music’, will be Monday, December 12th in the cafeteria. The concert will start at 6:30 pm. Choir students need to report to the cafeteria at 6pm. This will give us time to run through the music briefly before the concert starts. For this concert, students should wear a festival top (red, white, or green clothing; no t-shirts please), and black pants or skirt (no jean material).
Students are expected to participate in this concert. Due to the late notice, students will only be excused from the concert if they have a prior commitment Monday night. If this is the case, please let me know by Thursday, December 8th. If I don’t hear from a parent/guardian by Thursday, December 8th, I expect that your student will be participating in the concert.
Thank you all for everything you do. I look forward to sharing this night of music with you!
Sincerely,
Jessica Luhrs
