Jamison Journal
December 2021
Winter Months...
As December is now upon us, I wanted to wish the entire community a happy and healthy winter holiday season.
Typically, as the winter months roll in, student "activity" lessens. Getting outside becomes much more difficult as it gets darker much earlier and the weather can get very cold. During these times, please be mindful of the "screen time" your children get. While it's always nice to spend time together for a "movie night" or learn a new skill on an app, I caution prolonged periods of time for children with technology. In particular, alone time on social media apps or online video games.
What a great time of year to play a board game, put together a puzzle, read a book, or simply spend time together as a family.
Wishing all of you a happy and healthy December!
Respectfully,
-Mr. Croyle

Holiday Parties
Below is the current information about the upcoming Holiday Parties:
- We will continue to have a specific number of parent volunteers per classroom.
- Parties may have food / snacks / treats - We will encourage individually wrapped food if possible.
- We will implement spacing as best as we can for stations / activities / crafts / etc.
- If eating, it must be less than 15 minutes and students will eat at their individual desk.
- Teachers / Homeroom Parents will communicate the essential details.
- If anything changes with the above plan, we will make everyone aware.
Thank you,
Mr. Croyle
