Principal's Message

Hello Preschool families! We have had so much fun this week! Many of our classrooms have celebrated all of the holidays and everyone is finishing up their study of either Making Music or Bread.

Just a reminder that Friday is an early dismissal day. Students will dismiss at 11:45 (like the Wednesday schedule). Please make arrangements to meet your child following the early dismissal schedule.

I want to take a moment to thank each of you for sharing your child with us. They are each a very special gift that we do not take for granted. I hope you have a safe, healthy, and restful holiday. We will look forward to seeing you back at school on Tuesday, January 4th!

See you next year!

Winter Break

The district is running on an early release schedule this Friday 12/17 and we will be on winter break 12/20-1/3. We look forward to seeing everyone on 1/4!

Starting with Sounds

Tennessee Department of Education, in collaboration with Tennessee PBS, has launched Starting with Sounds, a Reading 360 statewide awareness campaign to help Tennessee parents and students understand the importance of reading in an engaging and fun way.

Starting with Sounds is a component of Reading 360, a comprehensive statewide literacy initiative to provide optional grants and resources to help more Tennessee students develop strong phonics-based reading skills by supporting districts, teachers, and families. Components of the Reading 360 initiative are funded with federal COVID-19 relief and stimulus funding.

Here is a new video that you can watch with your child.
