PBIS News:
What a joyful month it has been! From the wonderful photos on our doors, to the outstanding performances by our students at the Fleming Coffee House, to the excitement of attending the Fleming Cineplex, our school shimmers with happiness!
Students brought in photos of what brings them joy to post on classroom doors. We have enjoyed looking at the variety of things that bring a smile to our students’ faces: families; pets; sports; musical instruments; nature and so much more.
We ended 2019 with a favorite Fleming tradition, Cineplex Day. Students had over 16 movie choices to enjoy for an afternoon of relaxation and entertainment. A good movie, time with friends, popcorn...it doesn’t get better than that!
Take some time this vacation to focus on what brings you joy. May you find it everyday in 2020. As always, thank you for all you do to help our students be safe, kind, respectful and responsible. Enjoy.

Traffic Safety at Afternoon Pick Up
Just a friendly reminder of State Law, there is no idling in your vehicles, in front of the school. This is for the health and safety of the students, staff and others waiting outside to pick up their children. If you’re going to be waiting for more than 5 minutes, please shut off your engine while you wait. Or park your car in a visitors parking space and come inside to pick up your student and escort them to your vehicle. On below zero days we will have a cup of hot cider waiting for drivers who come inside and park their cars.
Please no illegal parking on Prospect Street. It is extremely unsafe to have students running across driveway and street traffic to enter a vehicle.
No idling please and no parking in no parking posted places.
MLK Dismissal Times
MLK is an early dismissal day for all students in the EWSD school district. Fleming will be out by 12:00 pm. Buses will still be an option, and will be on the same route schedule leaving Fleming by 12:30 depending on which bus.
Comfy Pj's for Cineplex Day!
Fun in Mrs. Downing's room
Working hard!
Volunteers are always welcome!
Emily's Clothing Closet
Hello Fleming Family!
I want to be the first to introduce to you the….CLOTHING CLOSET!
The clothing closet is a space where families/students/staff can look at donated clothing and take it home for free! There is no limit to the amount of clothing one can take. Clothing Closet will be open during additional designated times (Parent/Teacher Conferences, Holiday Events) and on an as needed basis. I will add updates in the Fleming Flyer as we go!
The clothing ranges from kids- adults!
