Reminders/Announcements
- Please make sure classroom doors are "locked and propped." All classroom doors should be locked and either the magnet placed in the door frame or propped open so students can enter/ exit without disrupting instruction. This way, in the event of an emergency, the magnet/ doorstop can be removed and classroom door closed and will be locked automatically.
- As we moved towards the holiday and more visitors in the building please make sure you wear your badge visibly and that you greet and check for stickers on visitors. If a visitor does not have a visible sticker/ badge please stop them and kindly ask that they put it on. You can also always call the office for assistance.
- Thank you for working with students to complete our safety drills last week. Please refer to these procedures and continue to have discussions with students about what to do in the event of an emergency (if you were in the classroom, hallway, lunch room, etc.)
Thank you so much for taking care of things while Christina, Yesenia and I were at the conference! Mrs. Love had great things to say about the campus!
Please feel free to wear jeans with the Red Ribbon Week dress up days. We can wear jeans and Astro's shirts on Tuesday and Wednesday! Go Astros!

Staff Challenge for Perseverance
Your “Yet” Goal
What’s a habit that you want in your life, but haven’t quite mastered yet? Research suggests that it takes at least 21 days to set a new habit into motion, and that takes Perseverance. This week’s challenge invites you to think of a habit you want to change, share that intention with an accountability partner, and commit to working on it for 21 days this month.
