The Kindness Matters Scholarship
Class of 2022,
As tomorrow is World Kindness Day, November 13th, we are pleased to announce the opening of The Kindness Matters Scholarship! The family of William McCrory lives a life based on the mindset that kindness matters. The McCrory Family would like to recognize two Rock Ridge High School Seniors who exemplify kindness through everyday actions. Whether this act of kindness is large or small this student is making a positive impact on someone.
Two seniors will be recognized with a monetary award during Senior Awards in June. To be nominated, the special seniors need to be nominated by a peer, school faculty member or a community member.
This scholarship is open to all students who are not planning to attend a “traditional” 4 - year college – funds are reserved for students who plan to attend community college, vocational school, apprenticeship, military, or have alternate high school goals, i.e. working full time or launching a start-up business (profit or non-profit).
See Naviance for more details to nominate.
