bean bag chairs have two zippers that can be unzipped and opened, one on the exterior cover and another directly underneath that zipper. The recalled chairs were sold in a variety of shapes (round or L-shaped) , colors (purple, violet, blue, red, pink, yellow, Kelly green, black, port, navy, lime, royal blue, turquoise, tangerine and multi-color), and fabrics (vinyl or fabric), and came in three sizes: 30, 32, and 40 inches in diameter. “ACE BAYOU CORP” is printed on a tag sewn into the bean bag chairs' cover seam.

2.2 million chairs were recalled because two kids, 13 year old from Mckinney texas and a 3 year old from Lexington Kentucky, unzipped the bags and crawled inside and suffocated from lack of air and inhaling the foam beads. you can prevent this from happening by

  • Immediately check your bean bag for any zippers that can open and take them away from your kids. Contact Ace Bayou for a free repair kit to permanently disable the zippers so they can't be opened by children.
