ELD Weekly Bulletin
Title III/ELD Listserv - Week of June 1st
Sunshine and Summer Time!
I hope everyone has already begun to enjoy the sunshine and summer time! We appreciate all of the hard work in completing ACCESS testing, ELL folders, and AMAO letters up to the last day of school - literally!
The Title III Specialists are off for the summer but will return in late July. I will be in the office most of the summer if you want to reach out to ask a question, make a suggestion, develop a support, check out materials, or just say hi!
I won't be releasing the ELD Weekly Bulletin on a regular basis during the summer but I will send out updates over the summer as resources or opportunities become available for you.
Have a great summer and we'll see you in August!
Laura

Reminder: ELD Summer Summit Proposals Due June 12th!
Just a reminder that the ELD Summer Summit Proposals are due June 12th! The call for proposals is attached here.
As our district staff serves a growing number of English Language Learners, Immigrants, and diverse students, you all have a wealth of experience, tools, and strategies to share with your colleagues. How great would it be to offer sessions on Co-Teaching with ELLs, Apps for ELLs, Supporting Immigrant Students with College and Career Opportunities, Engaging Diverse Families in Learning Together! These are just a few sample session titles that you have the experience and capacity to present or co-present with your peers.
The Title III Specialists and I would be happy to help you and support you with planning your presentation. Staff members who present will receive a stipend of the negotiated professional development presentation rate.
