Merry Christmas

Dear Parents,

I wanted to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. It is hard to believe that another year is coming to an end. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s life and to lead them in the path of learning for a lifetime.

The children are so excited about the Christmas Season and all of the joys, hopes, and surprises it brings. They are especially proud of the projects and gifts they have made in these past weeks. I hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them.

In this season of hope, love, and joy make memories with your children. When they are old they’ll treasure those most of all.

Many blessing for a safe and prosperous holiday season,

Stacie Hensley

Homework Helps and Hints

I'm sending home a sheet with each child today to record book titles they read over break. Then, when they return to school they will be able to take AR tests on their books.

Also, try to limit screen time each day. Kids still need to play inside as well as outside to be healthy in mind and body. So, put away those new electronics, turn off the TV and play a board game, read a book, do a craft or go out take a family walk.
