Digital Arts Class
Each project focuses on the principles of design and elements of art. Students study everything from proportion, balance, and repetition, to color schemes, textures, and spatial perspectives. The finished works include Atmospheric Perspective Landscapes, Islamic Tile-inspired Symmetry Paintings, Value study Digital Illustration, Graphic Art Logo Design, and Manipulated Photography Book Covers. Every student is able to explore their creative side while engaging in digital citizenship.
To view some of the digital pieces students produce, please visit the school's Facebook page or Google Doc folder.
Student Drop Off
When dropping your student off at school, please be sure to pull as far forward as possible. Doing so will help move as many cars onto our property to prevent back ups on Riverwoods Road. Please remember that school begins promptly at 8:30 a.m. so make sure students are dropped off with sufficient time to get to their lockers and advisory. If your student is going to be late, please call the office at 847-604-5280 or fill out the Sign In/Sign Out Google form.
Rebecca Caudill Voting Ends Soon
All grades, please remember, read three titles, fill out a brochure, and YOU can vote for the state Rebecca Caudill contest! Read three books from the Rebecca Caudill list and submit your completed brochure to the DW library! Reach out to Library Media Specialist Tabatha Otto at totto@d103.org for more information. The contest ends on Friday, Feb. 18.
