The Monster Book Fair is coming!

It's that time of year again! We're having a MONSTER Book Fair this year and we need your help! Volunteers are needed for day/evenings shifts and are critical to ensure that the event runs smoothly. We are especially in need of volunteers for the second shift on BOTH Family Nights.

Date correction for Track 1 students

Track 1 students received a Pastries for Parents flyer with an incorrect date on it. Pastries for Parents will be Wednesday, October 7th, NOT Wednesday, September 7th.

The Science Olympiad is coming!

Does your child like bugs, rockets, planets, animals, forensic science, airplanes, or just likes building things?

If you answered yes to any of these, then sign your child up to attend an information session on Middle Creek’s Science Olympiad program. Click below for more information and to download and registration form.

Service Club Volunteers needed

Every year 5th graders are invited to participate in our Service Club. This year, the students have come up with some GREAT projects, but Mrs. Fillard needs two parents to help her out. Please email Mrs. Fillard at lfillard@wcpss.net if you can help out. Thank you!

Membership:

THANK YOU to all of the families & staff who have already joined the PTA for the 2015-16 school year! You can still join too! Download a membership form here: http://middlecreekpta.weebly.com/join-the-pta.html. Completed membership forms along with dues ($7 for single and $10 for double membership) can be returned to your child's teacher or dropped off in the front office.

School Supply Donations Needed

We are especially in need of backpacks (gently used is welcomed), pencil boxes, pencil pouches, plastic folders, and three ring binders. Any donations can be brought to Mrs. Fillard's room or the front office.

Egg Cartons needed

Please send in your egg cartons to Mrs. MacDonald. She uses them all year for various art projects!

Volunteers Needed for the School Store:

We are looking for school store volunteers for the 2015-2016 school year.

Tuesdays: K-2 kids welcome from 8:00-8:25am
Thursdays: 3-5 kids welcome from 8:00-8:25am

The school store sells little pencils, erasers, fun little school items for kids to purchase - prices range from $0.10 - $2.00, so kids can easily afford to buy something even with a little bit of pocket change. It is located at the end of the main hallway, adjacent to the 2nd grade hallway. Please contact Stephanie Petty, stephaniepettyrn@yahoo.com
