Poetry Viva Voce
celebrates National Poetry Month
All Poets and Poetry Lovers Invited!
Since January 2011, the Gaston College Writing Center has sponsored a monthly poetry reading and open-mic even led by a group of student volunteers. Guests are encouraged to bring original poetry and prose pieces to share, or to read works by their favorite authors for all to enjoy. This month's reading celebrates National Poetry Month and is also a part of the inaugural arts festival at Gaston College, Textures and Tones.
