Bulldog Bulletin
May 4, 2018
Dear Bulldog Families,
The end of the year is a natural time to reflect upon and celebrate student learning and growth. Our students have shown growth in many ways: physically, emotionally, socially, and academically. On Wednesday night, several New Britton students and staff presented a small sampling of our learning and amazing tapestry of cultures at the Hamilton Southeastern inaugural HSEvening of Innovation. If you were in attendance, I am sure you would agree that it was an inspiring showcase of student voice, problem solving, inquiry, research, and passion. This event was a huge success and will become an annual event.
We will have another opportunity to celebrate learning with just our New Britton family on Tuesday, May 8 at our End-of-Year Learning Celebration. Students will be showcasing grade-level and individual classroom selections in an open house format from 6:30-7:30p.m. We will have members of our Fanning Howey architectural team here to provide a virtual walk-through of our upcoming renovation as well as some color schematics with some more specifics. Please stop by at any time between 6:30 and 7:30 to celebrate learning with us. Rita’s Ice will be available in the parking lot as a special treat for those interested. As always, thank you for partnering with us in education!
Sincerely,
Lori Mankin
