MackinVIA Professional Development Enhances Teaching Practices
by Wenndy Pray
Mackin representatives Martha and Ronnie Lee visited B. L. Gray Jr. High faculty for professional development earlier this month. They shared about great MackinVIA features for our teachers and students. As they shared, Librarian Wenndy Pray facilitated and addressed teacher concerns. Teachers were enlightened and showed great interest. They created groups for their subjects and hit the ground running. Seventh grade English teacher Lindsay De Leon now uses the MackinVIA app with her students. They access resources to complete class activities. "Every week we journal on one influential figure, and they have to research the person. I love it."
