Happy School Social Work Week!
Post Your Photos March 6-12, 2016 Using Hashtag #MASSW16
Help us celebrate SSW Week and educate others about School Social Work!
This year, MASSW is hosting another social media campaign and we need your participation.
What do you LOVE about being a school social worker? How can you describe the feeling of joy you get when a young life is changed for the better? We would like you to share it with others using "selfies", videos, or posters and the hashtag #massw16.
Three easy steps!
The process is easy:
- Download the School Social Workers... sign (click here) and complete it by typing into it or handwriting with a thick marker.
- Take a photo or video of yourself holding the poster
- Share it in any or all of these ways:
- Send it to us at socialmedia@masswmi.org (any time from now until March 12th)
- Send it out on Twitter using the #massw16 hashtag (between March 6th-12th)
- Post it on Facebook using the #massw16 hashtag (between March 6th-12th)
Then check the front page of the MASSW Website to see your posting.
Can others join in? You betcha!
Talk to colleagues, students, teachers, parents, and administrators and ask them to fill-out the School Social Workers... sign (click here) as well. Students may participate - but please make sure you have asked appropriate permissions. You may also have more than one person in a photo.
Do they have to use our sign? No, but please make sure the hashtag #massw16 is included.
When do you want us to post our photos? You can send them to us now and we'll release them slowly throughout the week. If you plan on posting to social media directly, please do so anytime between March 6-12 and add #massw16 to your post!
