2. Quarter 3 & 4 Final Grades Report
Grades Reports are available 2 weeks after the end of each quarter and once grades have been posted to students' transcripts. Traditionally we have asked families to complete a short form for each quarter. Going forward, we will ask families to complete the form once and that will cover you for the entire school year. Grades reports can be viewed electronically, emailed directly to you or printed and given to your student.
Please complete the 3-question form to let us know how you would like to receive your child grades. Quarter 3 grades will be available on Friday, April 22nd and Quarter 4 grades will be available on Thursday, June 16th.
3. High School Course Registration
Eighth families should have received a letter from the Student Placement Center regarding 9th grade school assignments. If your child has NOT received their confirmation either via email or mailed letter, please let us know so that we can assist you.
This year, high school courses will be selected online by the student & families. To prepare students for this next step in their academic journey, High School Counselors from Central will visit Ramsey on Wednesday April 27th for an 8th grade assembly. During the assembly, counselors will walk students through the steps of reviewing and selecting 9th grade classes. We will be sure to send a printed copy of the presentation and course selection options home with the students.
4. Transcripts & Middle School
In the weeks leading up to Spring Break, all Ramsey 6-8th grade students received a copy of their middle school transcript. Their transcript shows all courses attempted and credits earned during their SPPS middle school tenure. Students were given their own personal copy and encouraged to share them with family. If your child did not bring theirs home and you would like a copy, please let your child counselor know and we will gladly email it to you.
As questions arise, please feel free to call/email the Ramsey School Counseling team.

More Masking Guidance
Effective Monday, April 18, 2022:
- Masks are no longer required during times of low to medium community levels of COVID-19 in Ramsey County (Ramsey County is currently in the low category)
- Masks are required when community levels of COVID-19 in Ramsey County are high
- Both a cloth mask and a medical/surgical grade mask are required for staff delivering direct student support services when community levels of COVID-19 in Ramsey County are high. These services include direct care with ill students or health care procedures involving respiratory or aerosol-generating procedures
SPPS strongly recommends wearing masks for those in the below situations, regardless of community levels:
- Those who are unvaccinated or not eligible for the vaccine
- People who are immunocompromised or at high risk for a severe reaction to COVID-19
- Staff working with immunocompromised individuals and those ineligible for the vaccine
- Staff who have completed a five-day isolation period after testing positive for COVID-19 should wear a mask for an additional five days after returning to school to reduce potential spread
- Those with a household member who has recently tested positive for COVID-19
- Ill students being evaluated by the health office or waiting to be picked up to reduce potential spread
