Spring Break- a time to renew

We have reached Spring Break, and with it comes a time to renew. I take time over Spring Break to renew connections with my family and friends. I also reflect on the last day, week, month...you get the idea. I have a number of principal friends I have connected with all over the country. One of the Twitter and Voxer groups where we connect is called #principalsinaction. Two of the principals are in the process of writing a book, #KidsDeserveIt. This will be what I reflect upon over Spring Break, coming back to school with a renewed sense of doing all that I can for our students, staff, and families. I hope that you all are able to renew yourself over Spring Break, too.

Community Forums Wednesday, April 6th

On April 6th, Mr. Russ will be hosting Community Forums at 9:00AM and 7:00PM in the Intermediate School Little Theater. The planned topics are the changing state and federal policies, future budgets, and the Forward Exam, Wisconsin's new state-wide assessment. Any topics you would like to discuss are welcome, as well.

Third quarter ends Friday, April 8th

Although Spring Break starts tomorrow, our 3rd quarter for 7th and 8th graders doesn't end until Friday, April 8th. Although we do have ten days of no school, it might be a good time to check for missing assignments that can be completed. While you're at it, you can check on grades, too.
