Second-Semester Schedule Changes

Second-semester schedule changes will open on December 7th. I would urge all high school students planning to change their schedule to do so prior to leaving for Christmas break. A schedule change form will need to be completed for all changes.

Dual Credit Information

Anyone interested in taking dual credit coursework second semester please see me as soon as possible for enrollment. Remember, free and reduced lunch students receive one free course from UCM and unlimited free courses from SFCC (course and textbook fees still apply).


Freshman - View the Dual Credit 101 slideshow below. Enrollment forms are due in my office by 3 p.m. on Friday, December 11th. It contains a link to courses available to freshmen. * Please, do NOT purchase a textbook until you receive confirmation from me that you are enrolled.

Boys & Girls State Information

If you are a junior interested in attending Boys or Girls State next summer at the University of Central Missouri please let me know. Boys State will be held June 12th - June 19th. Girls State will be held June 20th - June 26th.

ACT Test Information

National test dates are listed below. To register, please go to http://www.act.org/. If you are a junior or senior and qualify for free or reduced lunch, be sure to stop by my office prior to registering to receive a waiver so you can take the exam for free. The test center for the National test date is located at the University of Central Missouri.

Leeton R-X does plan to administer the District ACT exam to juniors in the spring. More information will be provided at a later date.

FREE 2020-2021 Preparing for the ACT Test booklets are available for pick up in my office.

Our SFCC representative, Elizabeth Amos, will be presenting "Preparing the Scholarship Essay," this Friday, December 4th at 2:30 p.m. in the conference room. This presentation will guide you in understanding how to properly write a scholarship essay that is compelling and will stand out from other applicants. If you are considering attending a post-secondary institution you need to plan to attend.
