THANKS TO OUR HARD WORKING/ AND SUPPORTIVE BAND BOOSTERS......
They have taken care of us in MANY ways. Paid for many things like part of the Band trip, the buses for the football season, provided opportunities such as the Band Family BBQ, Senior 3rd quarter banquet, ALL of the awesome food at the concession stand and the band barn, AND they have given us the wonderful May concert at LCCC's Stocker Center! Make sure and give them a big thank you!
Charms Practice Logs are back!
That's right, with the beginning of the new semester and the 3rd quarter. Due every Saturday by 11:50pm a grand total of no less than 70 minutes are due. However, in the Charms Practice Log area, please mark down what you specifically practiced that day. Mr. B will be checking for that as well. Not sure what to practice? For starters, all 12 scales and the tough spots in your concert music. For specific help, Mr. B would happily help you out on what you should do.
Band trip snacks
If you wish, you are more than welcome to bring snacks in your carry-on for the trip.
Purchase a Uniform pillow today!
Please contact Mr. B if interested. They are $40 and checks can be written to the Midview Band Boosters.

Private Lessons
Private Lessons are essential for musicians. There are many times we hear "I wish I can sound like that". They sound that way because they take private lessons! Baldwin Wallace has an AMAZING music department with an OUTSTANDING private lessons program. We need to take full advantage of this opportunity! Click HERE for details!!!!
Time to start thinking about summer band camps!
There are a lot of summer opportunities for Band students. Baldwin Wallace, and Wooster have amazing camps to name a few. If interested in pursuing a summer musical event, talk to Mr. B!
4-H Band!
If you are interested in participating in the Lorain County 4-H Band. See the flier below!!!!

Tri-M
What is Tri-M?
Tri-M is short for Modern Music Masters. It is an honors society for musicians. If you are interested in joining, you must be performing at the top of your ability regularly and always providing help for other students and directors. For more answers, ask Mr. B!
Your instrument needs an oil change and new tires!!!
Yes, you read that correctly. An instrument is very much like a car. Every 3,000 miles (one school year for brass, 1 marching season for woodwinds) your instrument needs a tune up. Take it to a music store for maintenance, so your instrument is ALWAYS in good working order.
Midview Band Booster Scholarships!
We are now accepting applications for 2 $1000.00 scholarships to 2 graduating seniors who wish to take music in college. We also have an enrichment scholarship for any student(s) wishing to go to a summer music camp! The amount for this scholarship os $500 and this total can be split up in as many ways as the Midview Band Booster Scholarship committee sees fit. If you are interested in either, download the form below
