Hello RHE families,


Today was an exciting day! It was a beach spirit day, and the students participated in a school wide bingo event. Hopefully, you will hear all about it. All of the money that was used for the game will be donated to the Bucks County Homeless Education Initiative. Thank you for your generosity and continued support!


Please see below. There is a lot of new information and events taking place when we return from Spring Break.


PSSA – Testing begins on Tuesday. The teachers and students have worked hard the entire year. It’s all about being positive which could help in making a difference for our students! Please see below for a document with some parent tips to help your child during the testing period.

Roadrunner Raffle Winners

We had another round of winners for the Roadrunner Raffle: Vincent Valle, Fiona Brum, Polina Kozunkov, Bella Kane, Briahnna Fein, Brianna Gray, Elijah Park, Connor Quilty, Sara Marques, and Hava Gorgas. The Mystery Motivator this round was is a Homework Pass. We have many students working hard to Be Safe, to Be Respectful, and to Be Responsible. I am so very proud of all of our students!

Report Cards

Tuesday, April 16th, after 4:00 pm, parents will be able to log onto their account on the Home Access Center (HAC) and view their child’s report card. Report Cards will not be sent home. This is a new process for parents with students in kindergarten through second grade. For information about the report cards and logging into HAC please visit the District webpage HERE.

Field Day Shirts

Field Day Shirts are currently on sale through Friday April 26th. In order to deliver all shirts on time, orders can not be accepted past the 26th, so please order early!


Shirts are $5 each and can be purchased through the school store here. Your student has received their assigned team color from their teacher but they can also be found within the school store.


Field day is Friday May 17th and shirts will be delivered earlier that week.

Dairy Queen Family Night Fundraiser

RHE Home and School will be hosting a DQ fundraiser on Tuesday, April 30th, from 5-9 PM at Richboro DQ. 15% of your entire purchase will benefit the RHE Home and School Association. Enjoy a night off from cooking and support a great organization! Please see flyer for details.

March for Babies 2019 - Rolling Hills Elementary School Mini-Walk

Our annual Rolling Hills March of Dimes / March for Babies School Walk will take place on Thursday, April 25th. Please make sure your child is wearing sneakers on that day. To show support, your child may also choose to wear a purple, pink or blue t-shirt. Please consider donating to March of Dimes using an envelope or baggie with your child’s name on it. Cash, coins and checks made payable to March of Dimes are greatly appreciated.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation

This year the Staff Appreciation Committee has a lot of fun things planned to show our Rolling Hills teachers and staff members how much we appreciate all they do for our children year round! This year's theme is centered around children's books. RHE Trenton Thunder Family Night

Enjoy a night of baseball at the Trenton Thunder game. Our Rockin Roadrunners will be signing Take Me Out to the Ball Game. All guests including singers must purchase a ticket.

We will be running the Tab Collection contest until end in June. The winning class will receive a Rita’s and pretzel party.

Kindergarten and First Grade Registration

If you know of a family whose children will be coming to Rolling Hills, but who have not yet registered, kindly direct them to the school for registration information.


Administrative Regulation 126.1 states “All new registrants will be guaranteed a space in their home school if they have completed the registration process for the next school year by June 1st.” Please click HERE for information regarding Kindergarten and First Grade Registration.

Champions Kindergarten Enrichment Registration

The Champions Kindergarten Enrichment Enrollment has opened for the 2019-2020 school year, and parents can read more information about the program at the link below. As of now, there are still openings. If you know someone that would be interested, please pass this along! Enrollment is also open for the 2019-2020 Champions Before and After-school program.

RHHSA Call for Nominations

It is hard to believe that there are only a few months of school left. The year has truly flown by. Three of our current RHE Home and School board members are reaching the end of their two year term. In addition to these 3 open positions we have also added an additional board position (VP Communications) to help more evenly distribute the responsibilities of the board.


This announcement serves as the official call for nominations for the following positions:


Vice President Communications-1 Year term (2019-2020) initially to align with next years election.

Treasurer-2 Year Term (2019-2021)

Secretary-2 Year Term (2019-2021)

Fundraising-2 Year Term (2019-2021)


We would love to see some new faces on our board as we know there are many who have time and talents that would serve our RHE community well.

Nominations will be accepted through April 30th and new Board Members will be voted on at our May 7th meeting.

May 21st Calendar Revision

At their March 21 meeting, the Board of School Directors approved a 2018-2019 School Calendar Revision. The revision was completed to allow for a K-6 Early Dismissal to occur on the May 21 Election Day which is being utilized as a snow make-up day. The March 21 revised calendar has been posted on the district website and can be viewed now by clicking below.

Council Rock District Art Show, May 30th-June 1st

The district art show gives our community a chance to see our curriculum in action. The show highlights the work of students in grades 1 through 12. Work is both 2D and 3D. In total, there are over 3000 works on display during the show. This year's show will take place at CR High School North. CR North Earth Day Celebration

CR North’s National Honor's Society is sponsoring an Earth Day Celebration in the Library at Council Rock North. We will celebrate with activities on Monday, April 22 from 6:30 to 7:30. Students from K thru 3rd are welcome. The activities will be led by our STEM Honors Research students as well as other Honor Society members.

RHHSA By-Law Changes

The Rolling Hills Home and School Association board has recently made a few updates to our existing By-Laws. These By-Laws have not been updated for several years and were in need of a few minor changes to be better aligned with changes in technology, board positions, etc. This announcement will serve as the required 30 day written notice of the proposed amendments. Please see the attached PDF to review the amended By-Laws and submit any questions or concerns to the RHHSA board. These changes will be voted on by all members present at our May 7th Home and School meeting. Thank you!

2018 CRSD Summer Academic and STEM Academy

The Council Rock School District will be holding summer school, offering a variety of academic programs for students entering grades K-8. Programs run between July 1st and July 25th.
