I am the third of four children. I am single, and have 1 dog.

Wall, Texas

I attended Texas Tech University

If you are a teacher, where have you taught previously? If you are not a teacher, what other jobs have you held prior to coming to BISD?

I just graduated college.

Describe your favorite teacher growing up.

My fourth grade science teacher.

What was your favorite subject in school?


Why did you choose education as a career choice?

I wanted to make an impact on kids like my teachers have done for me.

What does success look like in your classroom?

Students feeling welcome, and understanding the arts.

What is your favorite or funniest "teaching moment?"

When student teaching, during my costume class, the kids would bring me a different wig every so often to switch out and teach in. The assistant principal walked in and started laughing hysterically.

What is your favorite thing about Breckenridge ISD?

How welcoming everyone has been since the day I got hired.

What advice do you have for students?

Always try your best, and show you care.

What advice do you have for parents?

Trust the teachers. They want what is best.

What advice do you have for a first-year teacher?

I am one! Just try your best.
