βοΈ Reminders & Updates
- Our school day begins at 8:25 AM. β° Students that arrive after 8:25 AM are marked as Tardy.
- Per State Statute: students who exceed 9 absences must provide a doctor's note π if a student is absent for illness, regardless of the length of the absence. All absences must be called into the school at 860-355-3793, ext 9.
- We go outside for recess every day as long as temperatures remain above 20Β°. π₯Ά Please make sure your children come to school dressed appropriately for the weather (coats, hats, gloves, etc).
- Wear RED for Americanβ€οΈ Heart Month on FRIDAY, 2/3
βοΈ Track Coach Needed!
We are looking for a track coach for the spring track season. If you are interested or would like more information, please reach out to Jen Rianhard!
βοΈ Spirit Week!
Next week (2/6 - 2/10) is Spirit Week at The Sherman School, Sponsored by Student Council!
βοΈ Hats for Heat
Students are invited to participate in Hats for Heat every Friday in February! Students can pay $1 to wear a hat each Friday in February! Money raised goes to Sherman Cares to help residents in need to pay for heating costs.
βοΈ Kindness Week
The Sherman School will be celebrating Kindness Week from February 13-17. Plan on joining in during the week and practicing "Daily Habits of Kindness"!
β€οΈ Valentine's Day
Valentine's Day is on Tuesday, February 14th! Students are more than welcome to bring valentines in to share with the class as long as they do not contain any food items or candy.
