Intermediate Newsletter

April Edition

A Message from Mrs. Robertson

STAAR testing season is upon us! It is time for students to use their tools to show what they know. It is imperative that all students are in school during these assessments and report on time, as modifications to daily schedules will occur in order to create a productive testing environment for all students. See the Intermediate STAAR testing calendar below. What your child is learning on a daily basis builds the foundation for being able to show academic growth each year. We know that the STAAR test is very important, but we do so much more here at Spring Hill Intermediate that will help our students have a fun and successful year. As you will see in this newsletter, we have a lot of fun things to celebrate!

Box Tops for Education

Our school is participating in the Box Top for Education Program. Please send Box Tops with your child to school. A collection bin is located outside of the library door. For every 50 Box Top collected, SHI receives $5.00. Our goal is for each of our 500 students to bring 50 or more Box Tops by May. This would benefit our campus by earning approximately $2500.00!
