*The kids could feel neglected if their parents spend to much time with the grandparents instead of them

*They might not know what to do with their time anymore
* Divorce can be common due to disconnection

* Their kids could worry how to take care of themselves and do everything on their own
*Other relatives could start to grow closer and spend more time together

*They could be happy to help out with the grandchildren and get involved while they can

*The parents might be relieved they have help
