TECH NIGHT
DENTAL CLINIC
We thank our nurses for organizing a Dental Clinic so families could take advantage of dental hygiene during school hours. Our children enjoyed visiting the dentist while in school and among friendly faces.

A MESSAGE FROM OUR NURSES
SEASONAL ALLERGIES
Seasonal allergy symptoms have begun!!
Allergy symptoms include:
· Sneezing
· Nasal congestion
· Runny nose
· Itchy, watery, red eyes
· Itchy throat
· Coughing
· Headache
There is no real cure for seasonal allergies, but it is possible to relieve symptoms.
Don’t forget to administer medication, eye drops or nasal sprays before school if needed or prescribed by your physician.
*** We do not excuse students with allergies from participating in outdoor recess/ physical education.*** Please encourage students to wash their hands after going outside and avoid touching their eyes. If an alteration in the school day activities is necessary due to medical diagnosis, a written note from a physician with the diagnosis and specified period of time necessary for an alternation (start date and end date) is required. Please feel free to call me at 732-329-1043 ext. 3012 to discuss further if you have any questions.
SUNSCREEN RECOMMENDED
As the days get warmer, and the sun gets stronger, we would like to request you apply sunscreen to your children prior to the school day. A sunscreen with a minimum of 30SPFand preferably waterproof is suggested. This will keep them safe from direct sunlight during the course of the day.
Please do not request that staff apply sunscreen to your child as this is something that should be done in the privacy of your home before the school day starts.
