Governor’s Cyber Security Task Force

I was contacted this week by the Missouri Association for School Administrators (MASA) and the Governor’s office to serve on the Governor’s Cyber Security Task Force. Our first responsibility will be to organize and help plan a state-wide Cyber-Security Summit to be held in August. The task force will include representatives from local governments, businesses, educational institutions and citizens. I will share more information as it becomes available.

General Counsel

As you are aware, Linda Salfrank will be retiring from the district on June 30th. One of the candidates has chosen to withdraw from consideration, which has extended our search and interview process. The position of general counsel is important to the district and the guidance received impacts our policies, regulations and day-to-day operations. I will provide additional updates as they become available.
