Staff Spotlight
Greetings Lobos! Here at PSA, we have a weekly segment called “Staff Spotlight” that features a PSA family member. For this week’s Staff Spotlight, we are excited to introduce our 4th Grade Math & Social Studies teacher, Ms. Krystal Ince. This is Ms. Ince’s seventh year teaching and second year here with us at PSA. Ms. Ince graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology and Child Development and earned her Master’s in Education from Southern Methodist University. One thing that Ms. Ince loves about teaching is “having the opportunity to change student’s hearts and minds about math.” Growing up, math did not come natural for Ms. Ince and she struggled in this area. Her goal as a teacher is for students to have a positive experience with math, even when it’s a challenge. On a more personal note, Ms. Ince is excited to share that she will be marrying her fiance, Victor Jones, this December. Soon Ms. Ince will become Mrs. Jones! When Ms. Ince is away from work, she enjoys playing with her three dogs, exploring the outdoors, trying new restaurants, and watching new television series and movies.
We are happy to have Ms. Ince as part of the PSA family!

Prestwick Learns
All classes reviewed expectations for both campus wide safety drills including fire and lockdown. Students were aware that these were a practice and discussed why we do drills. Thank you for you understanding that these procedures assure us that learners can quickly and effectively know what to do in a variety of situations. Our Prestwick learners and facilitators did outstanding during each drill.
Additionally, our 8th grade academic leaders signed Science Lab Safety contracts and created their own lab safety posters to demonstrate their learning. Check out their outstanding work that will remind them year round to be safe scientist! #PrestwickSTEMAcademy
