August 28, 2020 Update
Happy Friday! This is our new newsletter format and we will begin sending communications to you using this new platform which is user friendly and allows us to easily include links and photos. I have been asked to share some pictures of the classrooms with families. Please take a look below at a few pictures showing the student dividers, teacher dividers, and the view from behind a student divider. We appreciate that we have this added protection in the classrooms that can be used when teachers feel it is needed to maintain safety.
Our teachers return to school next week and have a full week of training ahead of them. Please no that they are working hard and give them some time to reply to emails or questions you may have. We are all excited to be welcoming back our students to learning communities whether it is in person or remote. The first week will be a lot of time spent building community, establishing routines, covering logistics, trouble shooting, and getting comfortable. It will take some time but we know that our Stevens community is strong and will work together.
This weeks Memo is also included at the bottom of the newsletter. Have a nice weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Durand
