Quarter One August 3rd - October 5th
Module One
1.Go to classroom.google.com
2. Log in with your SCCPSS account.
3. Click on the + sign located next to your name.
4. Put in the code hwv574.
5. To open our classroom click on the title.
Part Two: Reply to Question 1, in our classroom.
Part Three: Answer these two questions: What is your experience with Flipping & what do you hope to gain from this Cohort. Use this Padlet to post your answers.
Directions:
Double click, on the wall.
Type your name in the title box.
Answer these two questions: "What is your experience with Flipping & what do you hope to gain from this Cohort?"
Part Four: Join Remind. Directions are located in our Google Classroom. The PDF is located in the class stream.
Module Two
Part Two: Choose an online platform. Even though websites like Weebly, Wix, and Google Sites are nice for posting assignments, they don’t allow students to turn in electronic assignments. I am most familiar with Google Classroom. If you are not familiar with Edmodo or Schoology, please choose Google Classroom. Fill out the form below to indicate your platform choice.
Part Three: Create at least one virtual classroom. Using a screen capturing tool, take a picture of your classroom and attach the picture inside Google Classroom. Below are videos, on how to use screen capturing Tool for Windows 7 & 10, Chromebooks, IPad/IPhone, and Macs.
Quarter 2 October 6th - December 16th
Module Three
During my research on flipping, I found loads of information about the history & pedagogy of flipping. One website stood out. Flipped Learning Global Initiative website has fantastic resources.
Part One: Find an article or video from http://www.flglobal.org/about Flipping the Classroom. Share the link, in Google Classroom. Read one other resource a colleague has shared and comment, on the resource.
Part Two: During the next two weeks, flip at least one lesson. In our Google Classroom,
open the attached Google Doc. Copy the part of your lesson plan you are going to flip and paste the information onto the Doc. After the lesson, highlight and comment directly on the doc what did or didn't work.

Part Two: Briefly describe you plan for flipping a lesson, on Google Classroom.
