Music Booster Updates
The Westport Middle School Drama Club will present “Once on This island” on Thursday, Feb. 9 and Friday Feb. 10 at 6:30 PM and Saturday, Feb. 11 at 2 PM at the Westport Middle/High School auditorium. Tickets are available at the door and are $10 general admission.
Our Middle School Drama Club is currently fundraising for their trip to see one of our Westport graduates, Allyson Duarte perform with the North American Broadway Tour of CATS in Waterbury, CT on March 4. A very special thank you to Carvalho Landscaping for their generous donation of $500 and an anonymous donation of $1,000. Your generosity has been overwhelming! Any business willing to help with raffle items, gift cards, or tax-deductible donations towards this exciting educational experience should contact the Westport Music Boosters at wcsmusicboosters@gmail.com
The Westport High School Drama Club is busy rehearsing for their production of “Little Shop of Horrors” to be held March 17-19. More details will follow in the March newsletter.
A special thank you to our Wildcat Pep Band for continuing to add exciting music to our basketball games every week. Your dedication, enthusiasm and talent are so appreciated by all!

Hello Wildcats!
It has been great watching our girls and boys basketball teams along with our cheerleaders and the pep band. Everyone is doing an amazing job!!!

Please keep an eye out for volunteer sign up sheets and sign up when you can. We can’t have concessions and other events without volunteers.
The Mattress Fundraiser is scheduled for 4/2/2023. Thinking about getting a new mattress? This is the time to do it! All the mattresses will be set up in the gym for you to check out. Keep an eye out for signs and flyers to be coming out soon and please help spread the word.
Mr Westport 2023: WAB is hosting the Mr. Westport show along with the Senior class. Anyone who would like to help please let us know. Any help, donation, or ideas would be appreciated. We will also need somebody to help choreograph the dances for the show.
Next Meeting - February 7, 2023 at 7:30pm in the New School Media Center. We hope you join us! We would love to have a parent from each team.
Remember we are just a small group of parents. The more people that join will mean the more we can do for our athletes.

A Message from The Westport Education Foundation
Hello Friends,
We wanted to take a moment to Thank You all for your support and show how your donation dollars and volunteer time is being used this year.
DID YOU KNOW?
Earlier this year WEF approved funding for Literacy geodes that are implemented into the ELA curriculum at both the Macomber and Elementary schools.
WEF also approved a new Mystery Science program for the Elementary and Middle Schools.
WEF supports the SAT course offered at the High School level.
The NEW Drama Production: Once on This Island, Jr. at the Middle School is in part paid for by the WEF.
WEF approved funding for the Lion Head Integrated Cultural Project at the WES.
Just last month we approved funding for a NEW Robotics Gone Wildcat Program at the Middle/High.
Thank You again to all who supported us this year at the Derby, The Walk/Run for Westport 2022 and/or through our Winter Annual Appeal.
