Seasons Are Changing, Think Dress Code
Adolescents grow quickly, so what they could wear in the fall or in elementary school, may not be appropriate for Dacusville Middle School this spring. Please be mindful of the following as you are sending your students to school each day:
· Garments (shorts, skirts, etc.) must have a length that comes within one inch of the top of the knee. This applies to male, as well as, female students alike.
· No open holes may be in pants above the knee.
· Any sleeveless garment must have width on the shoulder area of at least four of the student’s fingers and the arm opening should fit the body closely enough to cover the underarm.
· See through garments (this includes any sheer tops) are not permitted unless a sleeveless garment that is four fingers wide is worn underneath.
· No leggings may be worn unless a long shirt/top, or skirt is worn over the top.
· No overly tight or form fitting clothing should be worn at school.
· No bare midriffs or backs should be seen when students are moving about during a normal school day.
Thank you for following the SDPC Dress Code!
