Stage Direction Web Series!
We had a very busy day today as we continue work on our web series. Each student is busy developing their individual character for our storyline. We've had a few mini lessons on how to create dramatic characters and how to create character arcs - this will help us develop engaging characters for our series. Since our show is taking place during the 1920's we've spent a considerable amount of time learning about the trends and vibe of that time period. Next Tuesday we will be ready to share with the rest of the class our proposed characters. This is always a fun day - instead of having each student stand up and present their idea, they have been invited to my 1920's social! I shared with them the 1920's table manners expectations, and a list of proposed menu items. I have include the list in this newsletter (as well as a sign up link) and if you are able to pitch in and bring in a food item, that would be great! Do not feel obligated, I understand how family budgets can be tight at times.
