FIELD TRIP THIS FRIDAY!
LUNCH: I only had two students who said they needed to purchase a sack lunch from school. If your child is bringing a lunch, it is important to pack things which are easily portable and pitchable. Also, keep in mind we have 2 peanut allergies in our room.
DEPARTURE: It is critical that we leave on time to give us maximum learning opportunities at the field trip site. We are loading the bus at 9:20 and late students are not permitted to be dropped off at the nature center, so please be punctual.
DRESS: Part of our time at the nature center is spent hiking. As long as it is not raining / severe weather while we are there, students will be participating in this activity, so make sure they wear appropriate shoes - old shoes if you are worried about them getting muddy or messy.
VOLUNTEERS: Our volunteers who signed up to assist, you must ride the bus to and from the field trip and will work with a small group of students while there. THANK YOU in advance for your assistance with being on time and being a helping hand. Your presence means so much!
